This research aims to clarify the Quranic aspects and mechanisms of human development according to Ibn Achour in His Tafseer Al-Tahrir wa Tanwir. The problem statement of this research is that the Quranic aspects of human being development as mentioned in Tafseer Al-Tahrir wa Tanwir need to be identified and highlighted, in terms of types, priority and mechanisms. This study is significant because it identifies and uncovers the Quranic aspects of human being development in the light of Tafseer Al-Tahrir wa Tanwir, which is essential to qualify the human being to fulfill the duties he is assigned with. This research used to inductive and analytical approaches. The findings of the research show that the Quranic aspects of human development according to Ibn Achour in his Tafseer Al-Tahrir wa Tanwir consist of four aspects, namely: faith, spiritual, ethical and intellectual. However, Ibn Achour has neglected the physical aspect of human development. These aspects are integrated and connected with one another. In addition, the study shows that every aspect is developed through specific mechanisms such as the various religious practices like prayer (Salat), Zakat and many others.
